Wales trip

I went on a holiday to North Wales and along the way I visited a small petting farm, suitable for a day out.
I took a few tourist snap shots but I also and sure to take a few photographic images where I took more thought and time into the images themselves and the subjects.

This image was taken later on in the day of me being there, and I feel this image shows in a way the different animals/creatures that live at this place, as well as playing with the idea of freedom and cadged.

Interesting back story behind this image before i took this image the two pony's were fighting chasing each other round the pen and even nocked over their little shading hut for when the sun is hit, even after all the fighting and biting (proof shown in the image the darker colour pony has fur from the other in its mouth) they stood together and made up.
When visiting I found out that there wasn't just farm animals at this place there was also owls as well. I was lucky enough to be there when some young owlets were available for viewing.

There was three different types of owlets when I visited and above are two of the kinds, I was lucky enough to have them to myself so no one was around to interrupt the shots I wanted to take.
The image on the left was taken very close so the chick saw itself in the reflection of my lens and therefor created this image, giving me a beautiful shot from the perspective of a mother feeding her offspring.

One animals that was rather cheeky and adventurous was the Kids (Baby goats), they were very brave and nosey animals and as you could go in the pen with them they did like to hatch plans and do a few escape attempts they got out a lot of time while i was there (not from me) from people opening both gates at the same time and not doing one at a time. They were very nosey and liked to eat nearly anything (I always found one of the little terrors eating my jacket or shoes, or trying to).

One of the best encounters I had with one of the owls was representative of these photographic images. I was looking through the cages of the owls and this little guy was happily sat on a piece of wood (like a log) and looking at me directly, I did look a bit of an idiot while photographing this animals because I kept moving my head oddly and making noises at the owl to capture its attention, and honestly I don't regret it i ended up getting some amazing shots from it.
